Quality Coordinator – Anne Parker is an End-of-Life care navigator and educator whose writing and learning have evolved into critically examining end of life care in Canada. In the last decade, she has been involved in health care advocacy and end of life research both of which have been centered around adding to the recognition that meaningful end-of-life care is crucial to both client and family well-being. Her Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies involved an in-depth philosophical and phenomenological study of the Canadian death doula role within end-of-life care cultures and contexts. She continues to write and study about end-of-life care. Mary-Anne has also enjoyed careers in marketing communications, fundraising, and writing.
She resides in Saskatoon in a multi-generational household while they live with a multitude of unfinished art projects.
