Shan Landry

Shan has had a long career in health care, first as a social worker and then as a senior administrator. Shan has worked towards promoting the basic determinants of health and connecting traditional health care services to a wider role in improving community wellbeing. She retired from the Health Region in 2012 after being responsible for most of the non-acute community health services including Long Term Care, Home Care, Primary Health Care, Public Health and Health Promotion, Mental Health and Addictions. She is very pleased to be joining the Prairie Hospice Society Board as a committed advocate and supporter of hospice and palliative care.
