Shelly McFadden

Shelly McFadden is a nurse that worked in the ‘Saskatoon Health Region’ for over 30 years, in the areas of acute care, long-term care, Occupational Health and Safety, Staff Wellness and Administration. She recently retired from the Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board, where she was the Director of Prevention and then the Director of Claims Operations. In January, 2022, Shelly and her husband moved back to Saskatoon, from Regina. While her husband is enjoying renovating their ‘new’ home, Shelly is currently doing some contract work with CASA-Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health and Addictions in Edmonton.

Shelly has two children, one in Saskatoon and the other in Winnipeg. No grandkids, however a very cute dog named Buttons! She enjoys sewing, reading and walks on Saskatoon’s beautiful Meewasin trail!

Shelly is looking forward to participating on the Prairie Hospice Board and learning more about the great service that the organization offers to our community.
